Hi!
I have three EST3 RS232 networks in bulidings A, B and C which are about 50km far from each others. Only building A has fireworks. I want to connect buildings BC to my fireworks too.
Each building has a LAN computer network, A is connected to B via fiber optic but A&B are connected to C via leased line.
My fireworks is in building A, the client gave me a network node in all the buildings ABC and I can ping the IP of the three nods from my fireworks computer in building A.
What kind of equipments/software I need inorder to connect EST3 panels in BC to my fireworks in A?
Thanks!
Fireworks communication to remote panel over TCP/IP in WAN

I think this link is what you are looking for.
I have used it on one job, at first I had swinging comm problems, but SDU 3.72 fixed it.
Model: NETCOM-1S

also you will need a RS232 card in the CPU

Thanks Leo,
It has been written in the manual that NETCON-INS Configuration Software is also required to enter a static IP address, set up port, protocol and data handling configurations.
There is a free software in the internet called NetCon 4.04
http://www.brothersoft.com/netcon-159561.html
Is it NETCON-INS Configuration Software?
How many Netcom-1S do I need to connect buildings B and C to the fireworks in Building A? Perhaps 2, am I right?
Do I need anything else?
Thanks,
Reza

Yes, you will need two.
I do not remember setting up the Netcom-1S units. I had 7 in the one site I was using them.
I am sure it if was a problem setting up I would had remember it.
I would bet that there is a CD for setting it up in the box.
