Turning off door ajar sound

Hi... Our "alarm guy" doesn't respond. We need to turn off the alarm that goes off when the door is opened longer than 30 seconds. I have found where to change the time length, but not turn it off. I went into the control map and right clicked the door and clicked "shunt". Is this temporary or until I unshunt it?
