FireWorks - Restoring Database from Backups
The files that are going to be restored MUST be in the backup directory.
C:\Fireworks\System\Backup
It will look like it works until you open fireworks, *What did it restore?
C:\Fireworks\System\Backup\SynergyDemo.backup_fwk
C:\Fireworks\System\Backup\SynergyDemo.backup_db
I work on a remote pc with FireWorks loaded and a hasp key.
I backup the database via the System builder
copy it to a flash drive
copy it to the customers FireWorks pc - C:\Fireworks\System\Backup
And do a restore via the System Builder.
Do not forget to copy your maps/icon/etc if needed, and only if needed
Also DO NOT forget to restore from any other directory but C:\Fireworks\System\Backup
it just will not work.
* Did you make changes to the config file?
