I was just at a customer that install a comcast router with 2 phone lines to replace the copper lines.
the set was trying to dial out using pulse dialing and it would not work.
want in and out of programming (V32FB) to reset the comm fail on the set so it would dial out DTMF.
it looks like at least for Comcast Pulse is going the way of copper phone lines.
almost all the Vista line of panels uses pulse as its backup.
something to keep in mind as we program our control sets.
I was waiting for pulse dialing to stop being supported.
FACP dialing the CS with PULSE not working
Re: FACP dialing the CS with PULSE not working
Not only are the digital lines incapable of dialing in pulse mode, some receivers (especially Bosche) cannot handle the incoming dtmf tones due to compression.Leo wrote:I was just at a customer that install a comcast router with 2 phone lines to replace the copper lines.
