Performance mode

Post by calebking »

we have and EST3 installed in an arena which hosts music shows, comedian and sports events. the system has been installed for 10 years but recently we upgraded the detectors to ESt Siga-psi. the problem we are having is that with the new detectors being more sensitive that they are being triggered by smoke from pyro techniques which is travelling throughout the building. we have set all detectors to lowest sensitivity. the customer is looking for us to install a performance mode so that the detectors in such areas are disabled during performance then enabled when show over. I can write a rule to use one of the panels buttons to disable and enable the devices. but if there is a device still active can write a global command to warn the customer of this. tried disable active command but this would have to be written for each device. also is there a way to group the devices and then disable this group. anyone any thoughts?

When you are about to restore those devices initiate a reset first. Delay the action.

Switch 'switch_Performance_mode'
: on 'led_performance_mode'
, Disable 'show_detectors'
, -delay 50
, -reset 'all_cabinets'
, fast 'led_performance_mode'
;

This way when you restore the switch you will send a system reset across the network and then enable the devices.
