Its needed to close and open system control to view events!

Hi everybody,
I have installed fireworks version 1.7 ,but there is a problem :
Its needed to close and open again the software(system control) to view new events(fault or alarms)!!
any suggestion please?

operation system: win 7 Ultimate , 64bits, Service Pack 1.(according to release note fireworks version 1.7)
