Subject: LSRA(C) Downloading Tips
Introduction:
This document will assist the programmer with downloading to the LSRA(C). Below are steps to follow when downloading to the LSRA(C).

1. Before installing the LSRA-PROG card, power down the LSRA(C), install the programming card, connect the download cable to the LSRA(C) from the computer and then power up the LSRA(C).

2. When downloading to a new LSRA(C), remove any external key switch, or jumper that may be installed across TB1 terminals 1 and 2. Removing the external wiring will allow the annunciator the ability to download.

3. When powering up the LSRA(C) for the first time after installing the LSRAPROG card, the display should show the time and date. If any other characters other than the date and time are displayed, power down the LSRA(C) and reseat the LSRA-PROG card. The LSRA(C) prompts you to place SW1-4 on, if the letter “J” appears in the upper corner of LSRA(C) display, the LSRA-PROG
card will need to be replaced. Set SW1-4 to the On position and start the download from your laptop.

4. If all these steps have been taken and you still find it difficult to download, “scrubbing” the LSRA(C) has been found to be successful. Simply power the unit down, set SW1-4 on, then power up the annunciator, set switch SW1-4 to Off position and wait, it takes up to 11 seconds for the annunciator to display trouble, indicating that process is completed.

5. The LSRA(C) can only be downloaded by using the LSRA-PROG programming card.
Note: The LSRA(C) can be downloaded using the RJ11 jack on an RS-232 card if one’s installed for printer operation.
