2-DACT WILL NOT CONNECT

I have an existing site with an est-2 and a 2-dact. I am trying to change the CMS phone but the 2-dact
will not connect to my laptop. I hear the connect tones, but never a connection. I have tried every baud rate and I am using 2sdu 3.3
Also, the facp is routinely showing "Call out incomplete" and we ARE receiving signals at the station.

Yes, this is old, but the 2-dact is an updated DL2 and is downloaded by using a computer with a modem and phone line.
