Gamewell CAMWorks and FCI-7100

I have CAMWorks and a RJ11 to DB9 cable. Plugging into the onboard RJ11 socket of the FCI-7100 will not allow me to connect.
The manual says I do not need the INI-7100 on a standalone 7100. Any suggestions?

can try first with HyperTerminal just to make sure everything is fine these are the parameters:
Bits per second: 9600
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow Control: None

some old firmware versions of 7100 will not connect to the latest version of CAMWorks,

Thank you. I tried that. I may have to go over the pin outs of the cable I am using. It may be the culprit.

Found the cable information with pin outs (attached). All is well

Using Camworks I can connect but the "upload' option is not highlighted only download. Any idea why I cannot upload the existing configuration?

Hi, for the 7100 panels the upload option is on the download page "7100 upload",
just click download to see what I'm talking about...
