Testing addressable HEATS - 20% per year?

Conventional heat are tested at 20% per year
This is because it’s a pain in the ass to test them
So the geniuses decided we only needed to test 20% per year

But addressable detectors may be a different animal
My question is do we need to test 100% of addressable heat detectors each year

as I look though NFPA 72, testing of heats only looks like it is referring to conventional heats
so we test addressable the same as conventional???
