I have a EST 3 networked systems 20 total panels. The company had me change the monitoring on the 2 panels with the Modcoms. After I changed the account information in the Modcom and where it was needed in the rules. I down loaded the data bases back in to the systems I got the monitoring part working no problem. Now I have server panels showing "EXT Database Incompatibility trouble," also Many of the Cards Database are out of sync with the CPU. I am at a loss here. I can't call tech support. so I am hopping some one here will help me. also I have a few other issues like a Configured device "P20 C02 D676" I have never seen that as well. so any help we I can get I will be very thankful for. By e-mail or phone call. Thank you in advance
Jim
HELP NEEDED BADLY
Re: HELP NEEDED BADLY
Did you load ALL the panels?
it is not often that you can only one EST3 panel and not get an "EXT Database Incompatibility"

Re: HELP NEEDED BADLY
just download the new cpu database to all panel if you have ext database incompatibility and for card database out of synch just match your loop controller databse with actual and expected devices.
Re: HELP NEEDED BADLY
i have the same problem... with the same troubles that yours. I downloaded the database in all CPU´s and in the card, but these didn´t work. did you solve your problem?
Re: HELP NEEDED BADLY
Simply put, ALL CPU DATABASES must match...so if you do a DB conversion and download 1 CPU, you will have to download ALL CPUs, hopefully the 485 loop is wired where you can download all from one cabinet
The OUT OF SYNC issue is when a loop controller database doesnt match the CPU database...like if the loop has 20 devices and the CPU has 19
