This is from the Wire Guide manual
http://www.thealarmtech.com/forum/viewt ... ?f=5&t=112
EST3 operates on a multi priority peer-to-peer token ring network. The multi-priority token ring gives EST3 exceptional response. EST3 token ring network configuration also permits vast distances between nodes. The allowable distance between nodes on#18 AWG (0.75mm2) is 5,000 ft (1,523 m). With 64 nodes supported on a network, the total network length is in excess of 300,000 ft (91,400 m), or nearly 60 miles!

hI,

Fibre Optics is preferred by Client . client has a 12 core fibre optic network for communication among buildings.

They are providing 2-core for fire and 2 core for BMS systems in each building.

Can you tell me what other accessssories required for connecting to fibre optic network.

I have to connect it finally to fire graphics software at Central station. and sub station for fire graphics at reception .

So is it possible to make 2 fire graphics for 1 network .

regards'

you need to check first the specs of your cable..
the accessories are..
* 3-fibmb fiber optic interface board
* smxlo transciever (14km) or smxhi transciever (40km) for single mode
* mmxvr transciever (2.4km) for multi mode

you can check est-3 website for further engineering information..

about fireworks..yes you can put multiple fireworks pc.
