hi all,

i have a conventional UV flame detector -hochiki HF24- i want to connect and monitor it by EST3 panel.
i tried to give it separate 24 dc and monitor it by CT1
but i found that it should be powered and monitored by the same source as it contain only 2 terminals-like the old 2wire smoke detector system-so i need EST3 monitor module that gives out put voltage not only dry contacts.

kindly advice

This is totally a guess but maybe use an
Initiating device circuit module..

if it acts like a 2 wire smoke, which it sounds like it does either of these device should work.

Traditional 2-wire smoke detectors connected to 3-IDC8/4
modules • 6.19
Conventional 2-wire smoke detectors connected to SIGAUM
modules • 6.19

dear all,
i just installed the SIGA-UM then i read the devices from the SSDC1 i found that its identified as:
127:waterflow
128:(nothing)

129:waterflow
130:(nothing)

OK so far

now i went to tools>>configure to choose personality 13,14,20 or 21

BUT you know the window opens to choose the panel and the loop card to configure?i choose the required card but it only gives me the configuration of the first card in the first panel whatever the panel i choose it still gives me the same!!!!!first card in the first panel

this will drive me crazy,

waiting your feedback as the the T&C is very soon

one more thing iconnect the 24 vdc wire from the ssdc1 and still gives internal trouble????

it's fine now
i called technical support
the SSDC1 label shouldn't be the same for all the panels
