the question is not how EST's SLC loop can not only use a pair of wires to send data and the needed voltage to all the devices on it.
But why EST's SLC design sucks compared to the others
when a device polls or goes in alarm it is almost impossible to see the LED.
for a long time the modules did not even have holes so you could see the LEDs
let's talk about Phantom false alarms, ducts, the new siga2-smoke
map faults, JOKE
needing a serial number, to cheap to use dials for the addressing, JOKE
The EST SLC design sucks!
