now the 5 panels are networked together and I want add this panel to them.the panel that I programmed was in communication with 5 other panels at first (I had a network with 6 panels),then I changed the program and wrote the new program .now I have problem to communicate this panel to 5 others.(I have network class A failure message on LCD)

Hi everybody,
I created a SDU file with 6 panels but wrote the rule for the panel that has been changed (panel(02) in these networked panels) and downloaded the SDU file on this panel and reprogrammed it.
now i have these trouble in panel(02):
0200060 Network class 'A' failure
Network panel 01 communication fault
Network panel 03 communication fault
Network panel 04 communication fault
Network panel 05 communication fault
Network panel 06 communication fault
and this trouble in other panels:
Network panel 02 communication fault
best regards,
Mehdi.

Here are some elements you need to check:
* Wiring, ring out wiring from/to node 02.
* 3-RS485A, make sure it's an 3-RS485A not 3-RS485B.
* Code/Bootstrap, make sure all nodes have same version.

if all good, try swapping 3-RS485A between node 02 and another node to see if communication fail follows card.
if trouble persists try swapping 3-CPU's between node 02 and another node to see if communication fail follows CPU.

Good Luck

how did you wire panel 6 to the network? It sounds like you removed the wiring for panel 2 when you connected panel 06. the network wires are probably mislabeled or the splice is incorrect. As AB posted, check your wiring.
