Printer connection to EST3

Hello.
Guys, could you help me.
Can I connect printer Epson Lx-300 to EST3 system
but I don't have program SDU to configure this system?

u need the use SDU open existing database, at the program select open printer port then download to EST3 panel

i've also want to connect to printer and Firework.
The port 1 in CPU panel for printer
the Port 2 in CPu panel for firework.
For testing the PC to EST-3 panel via RS232, i using the Hyperterminal for trace data. But i only see with slow speed stranger symbol.
And the can not connect Firework and Printer.
Any one have experience help me, please share me some reasons it fault..

hi guys,
why not connect the printer to fireworks (via USB) in that case you can put any printer you want.
the selection of the file to print is easy on fireworks,
