Hi,

I have programmed many EST3 PANELS but i am programming EST3x for first time . please provide steps to program EST3x panel with One 3 sddc1 and one SFS-1 and one PS10-4b.

Please suggest how theses modules will be added to SDU utility .

I am fairly new to this type of system, and although we did the course and receive certification, it is quite different to deal with a real problem.

With 3-SDU have already configure the cabinet, modules and LRMs. We also have programming rules compiled.

According to the EST3X Reference Manual, we understood that we must first make a download of the CPU only (Application, Bootloader and Database). Then we perform DB conversion and download. All this is performed smoothly: 3 downloads and 0 errors. Then the panel restarts automatically.

Unfortunately (or lack of knowledge), now the control panel does not turn on. Only a continuous beep sounds, the buttons do not respond, no messages on the LCD and LED CPU Fail is ON. There is also no communication with 3-SDU. At this point we restarted several times and continue with the control panel become brick.

Any help or guidance you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated. I know that in this forum there are people with a lot of experience and may have seen something similar.

for my experience, without more course than my manuals and the desire to take a project forward, the process is the following:
1. structure your harwarde, each card has a place in the slot, and according to that each card has a logical address reflected. if you do not know that, read the installation manual of the est3x.
2. With the software, SUD builds a project indicating that you will use as cabinet CAB6 and in module select C-CPU. Automatically it will be selected the addresses corresponding to the slot where the source and loop cards are. The additional ones you have to configure in the software.
Write down the firmware version of each card and reflect them in the software indicating the version you use both CPU and ASU.
3. ADD ONLY 1 DETECTOR, BUILD A SIMPLE RULE, COMPLETE AND REALIZE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE DATABASE. AND IF THERE ARE NO ERRORS IT WILL BE READY TO DOWNLOAD IT TO THE PANEL. DO NOT CONNECT ANY TIE DETECTORS EVEN, THAT IS FOR THE SECOND STAGE.
