Has anyone here had any success with using the EST MNEC?

I'm having trouble getting communication through ASUs. I was able to get the amps to kick on, but no audio running through the remote ASU (this is a very large network) without the use of a CR to trip the REMIC input.

Aside from that, we were given single mode fiber due to the distance between nodes and have had to resort to 3rd party converters since EST doesn't seem to supply a single mode NETSW. Any words of wisdom for getting this to work?
