I do not think it answers all of your questions.
with the QuickStart you can not export the database from the ADT version then import it into the EST version, but you can connect to the panel and upload it.
Do you have the database to try and import?
With the Mirtone fire panels (QS & EST2)the smokes are not interchangeable, between EST and Mirtone.
It's not my money, but I would load it, or at less try.

Is it possible to use an Edwards EST SDU and key on a Honeywell XLS1000 version of the EST3 and vise versa? I have a client very upset with Honeywell and wants to have our company perform any maintenance and upgrades, since we are already maintaining the access control and CCTV systems.
