upgrading secure perfect 2.1 to 6.1.1 notes

secure perfect pro is for non-server PC's, the installation CD will install MSDE
secure perfect enterpise is for server pc's (windows2003 server) windows SQL is required

- If changing PC's get 2.1 database to the new PC
- typical S.P. logins - secure master
- install the Installation CD (it will do the install and then reboot)
- MSDE may need to be installed, check for the computer icon in the bottom right tray
the sa password will be master
- run sp21tosp30 to upgrade sp2.1 databases to 3.0
- create sp database, it will now convert 3.0 to 6.1.1
- you may need to flash the panels, if so stop the services
- if you need flashtool, do a search in this forum for flashtool
- both SP services will need to be set to auto
- licensed software, get SP611xxxxxx # and sales order # off CD box.
