A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
Recently performed a site wide upgrade to SP3. After performing the upgrade I have noticed that a few of my users are expericening an issue where Secure Perfect fails to load or takes forever previewing badge access reports. Has anyone had this problem?
Re: A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
you can try installing sp611sp2 and sp611sp3
but you may have to uninstall sp3.
or ungraded from Secure Perfect to Facility Commander.

Per GE support: if the client is running XP with sp3, remove it. go to sp2
control panel->Add Remove programs->xp sp3 remove

SP 6.1.1 Service Pack 3 SP611sp3
2. Fixed the issue of slow network performance when adding a badge on a remote client via the WAN.

Re: A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
Leo thanks for the response and i'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I had to put this issue on the back burner for awhile and i'm just now getting back to it. Anywhooo I checked out the two links you’re provided and I believe your reponse may be the answer i'm looking for. However I have noticed that the links to the apporiate service pack downloads you provided are no longer working. I have tried to click on the link many times but only receive a page 404 error.
Re: A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
I need to call GE / UTC, I can not find sp2 or sp3
Re: A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
Leo,
I was able to get a copy of the SP6.1.1 SP3 fix from UTC. They informed me that I would have to apply it to both the server and user workstations. I really appreciate your help.

Re: A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
Leo,
I'm still having issues with Secure Perfect. I'm having an issue with the activity monitor form. When I launch the form it opens but then no badge activity is shown in the box. I have a comm on green light and the micro utility form, alarm monitor form, and client monitor form work fine. Do you know of any reason that the activity monitor from would be the only one not working?
Thanks for your help!
Tom

Re: A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
I have seen this problem a few times and I am not sure what the fix was.
The activity monitor which is not working is on a Client computer correct?
I am going to look into it.

Yeah its a client computer.
Re: A few issues with Secure Perfect afte sp3 upgrade.
per tech support, it is a Windows Permission problem usually.
