Hello All, Can anyone offer any advice on why the NFS2-3030 has "No Answer DACT" I followed the direction in this post. I addressed all 2-32 boards as ASC-64, I have 8 flashscan loops.

can have a look if you can share the Database

Adding a U-DACT2 to an existing NFS-3030 database within VeriFire Tools
OverView:
You will need the newer VireFire Tools to load the UDACT-2 "License version" no way around it.
The UDACT-2 does not just program itself, you will need to work a little
Each point within the system "L1D1,L4M150" is assigned to a point Within the ACS mapping
The UDACT-2 program will need to do a Auto Populate, which takes the ACS point mapping
and populates the UDACT/CENTRAL STATION INFO
once this is done you will need to Load the UDACT board.
1. open database (NFS-3030) .
2. "ADD NODE" " UDACT WILL BE THE SAME ADDRESS AS PANEL" Under Edit Session you are going to add another node, this node is a UDACT2
3. Settings within the panels ACS Mapping
a. Make one of the ACS board addresses UDACT (address 1 is ok)
The first address will give you 64-8=56 points to assign points to "IE L1M1"
"If VeriFire Tools is working right it will auto assign points to the ACS board/ACS points"
b. you will ussally need to add ACS boards as "64 pt ACS" so all the devices/points can be assigned to ACS points.
As you add "64 pt ACS" to ACS mapping "Board Type" may or may not be auto assigned.
If not auto assigned you will need to manually add the "Function" and "Source" IE. "Monitor" "L1M1"
If auto assign is working add "64 pt ACS" board types until all points are assigned
Check the programming manual for number of ACS board addresses needed
c. Manually assigning ACS point info, can be done, quite annoying,
if it is not going to auto assign you will need to manully, good luck
4. Settings within UDACT -> Generasl Settings
a. Reporting type -> point transmit/receive
b. Add dialer info, format CID, account, phone number
c. ACS Addressing -> start 1 -- end "as needed" IE 2 thru 32
this will need to match the "ACS Board" settings in ACS mapping
Maxium of 32 addresses will give you 2000 points to use.
Remember the 3030 has 3030 point max.
d. Zone and point assignment-> "Auto Populate" this will take the ACS point info and assign it a Central Station point.
Last Thing: Run Report select node-> UDACT Select type-> Central Station
Check what you did, also clear report and send to CS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DOWNLOAD the UDACT
a. Plug your USB cable into he UDACT, hit "Local Network"
b. Switch switch 2 on udact board "SWITCH 2 ON/OFF TO LOAD"
c. turn switch 2
