FYI..... I had to make a minor program change to 2 Quickstart Panels. The next day, I got a report of 2 Missed Timer Tests on these 2 panels. Originally, the 2 panels had v1.8. When I loaded, I updated to v2.5. I put a Butt Set on and monitored the system/Dialer while forcing in a timer test/Trouble signal. The panel would go off hook and just sit there and not Dial out anywhere. Long Story Short......I reloaded the 2 panels with the same database , BUT with Version 1.8 and not 2.5 , and the Panel started Dialing / Sending out signals again.
I emailed tech support in regards to this. I will update when I get an answer....Most Likely, Its going to be another deal whereas ... If you have a CPU with Hardware V1.0 , and a DLD with 1.2 , AND you update your Firmware from 1.8 to 2.5 , stuff aint gonna work apparently!
