I have only worked on smoke beams in one place.
resetting the beam can be a problem, I would use the (Auto reset mode).
If you can, use the (Test Station), if not you will be sorry in the long run.
also mount the beams in places you will be able to get to, you will need to adjust the beam.
The installation tech sometimes does not think about the service tech.
