Hi all,

I hope I can find an answer and resolution to this question/trouble. My church has an EST ESA 2000 fire panel and it has a system trouble code #4- data 0. I tried resetting the system and still comes up. Does anyone know what this error code is and how can I fix it?

4 I-04 Error NVRAM Battery Dead

Trouble Identifier : HARDWARE
Error Data : None
Maximum Qty Logged : 1

Description

The NVRAM backup battery is low. If the system were to loose power the
contents of NVRAM may be lost. The status of the battery is checked once every
2 minutes (after every complete NVRAM check).

Action

Save NVRAM contents, Replace CPU Board (or battery), and restore NVRAM
contents.

Thanks for the response. I hope I didn't loose any of the programming. Because I completely powered down the entire system--AC and battery. I should have tested to see that it functions properly but I didn't.

I am a service technician who has no experience with the EST ESA2000 FACP. Can you tell me if this NVRAM battery is a lithium battery? If yes what the model number of the battery is and where it can be found.
