This is a very Cool text editor for the EST3 SDU rules.
It will help you write rules by adding color and bold text
It will also help reduce typos
ie:
[SW 1-1-2 MANUAL PAGE LORISE SPKS ON]
SW 'PANEL1.1_SW2_*' :
ON -LOW SUP '*Lorise*SPEAKER*PAS_LVL_ALL*'';
Download the pdf to get a quick look.
If you like, install NotePad++ then follow directions for sharing MY DEFINED LANGUAGE.
download (notepad++ est3 sdu settings session.zip)
set it as your default rule editor, under LANGUAGE pick EST SDU
How can I share MY DEFINED LANGUAGE (or my syntax highlighting) with the others?
Follow the instructions below:
1. Type %APPDATA%\Notepad++ in Run box, then Enter, and a folder will open.
2. In the opened window you'll find a file named userDefineLang.xml. Copy it.
3. Do procedure 1. on the destination PC. Copy the userDefineLang.xml into the opened folder.
4. Relaunch Notepad++ from the destination PC et voila.
For sharing the syntax highlighting, follow the same procedure but replace userDefineLang.xml by stylers.xml.
