VERSION 1.50 vs 1.41

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 1.50
FireWorks runs on Windows XP Professional only. It is has not been tested with any other version of Microsoft Windows or any other operating system.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 1.41
To install or upgrade FireWorks on Windows 2000, the Windows 2000 must have Service Pack 4 installed. FireWorks also runs with Windows XP Professional.

New System Builder features
In the Command and Action Browsers, items that have been assigned to a substate of a device now have a blue highlight. In both of these browsers and the Message Browser, you have the ability to see where all items are assigned. By double-clicking the device, the map where the device is dropped is automatically displayed in the Map Browser. Also, a map in the tree within Map Browser has a blue highlight when a secondary TSA is assigned to it.

Full backup/restore
When doing a backup, you now have an option to check the Full Backup checkbox. If you check it, in addition to backing up the storage file and database, the html, icons, images, maps, and sounds folders will also be copied to the backup folder. If these folders exist in the backup folder, they will be cleared first. In addition, C:\Fireworks\System\FireWorks.config, which stores the system configuration, will also be copied to the backup folder.

When a full backup is done, an empty file called Full_Backup will be created in the backup folder. If later you do a regular backup, this file will be deleted. When doing a restore, the system does a regular or full restore based on the existence of this file.

Command passing between nodes
FireWorks is listed to allow the passing of commands from one fire panel to another. There are of course limitations to the physical number of commands that can be simultaneously passed from node to node in a short period of time. We have done extensive in-house testing on this to offer some design guidance.

NEW FEATURES
I. Optional Web Client (purchased separately)
FireWorks Web Client part number FW-1S allows for one user to connect via the web client to the main FireWorks system.

Up to a total of five simultaneous users can connect to the main FireWorks system by purchasing the FW-4S and adding that to the FW-1S. The FW-4S cannot be used without a FW-1S.

II. Optional Receiver Configuration Manager (purchased separately)
