Hello,
I have a site with a bunch of EST-3 controllers each of them connected over AuxiliaryPorts to 2 workstations with FireWorks v1.7 . One recent day I got an event on both workstations stating "Trouble: Card/Port Not Found Activate" from device "01WDOG0" (screenshot attached to this post). Looks like due to other known reason I lost all history logs for that day so I haven't any data to analyze and try to figure out what and where is happened with system at that moment.
My question is what kind of device type is this 01WDOG0 device (software entity, some kind of virtual point or real hardware one) and how can I restore this active trouble event. I have inspected almost a half of all EST-3 controllers at this moment and none has any trouble state.

Re: FireWorks error 01WDOG0
I believe 01WDOG0 is a virtual point for EST-3 "WatchDog Violation"
Obviously, FireWorks v1.7 is ancient, I would carefully restart system control.
Highly recommended to upgrade fireworks to version 9+ on a newer computer.
I don't think you would be able to convert it directly to 9+, however you may back it up and send files to factory.

AB, thank you for advice. I know v1.7 is far from actual one. I am going to migrate to the newest platform soon (2025-2026).
Topic problem SOLVED. The problem was I pressed a "Watchdog" button in System Builder by accident and didn't notice that. It was a bit complicated to figure out how to deactivate it. Looks like it is not possible while System Control is running. You need to run System Builder only to manipulate Watchdog setup.
