Panel Firmware

WinpakPE needs 8.02 or higher to work.
Howenywell for the last 6 years has been using 8.07

The chip upgrade is not hard, I would upgrade all the panels on the old winpak software first

Winpak1.x does not use SQL so the database can not be converted.
HoneyWell can convert ONLY the card data, but you can also convert the cards (check other post)

Honeywell does not convert the panels.

Winpak1.x login - system password startup or passwords:master northern

1. Get all the data out of winpak1
...... Run a Report on PANELS,ACCESS LEVEL,TIME ZONES, COMMAND FILES, and print them
...... Run Card report and export it.
2. Install the software, License it, make access levels.
3. Then import the cards
...... Run a Card report and export it, run the ImportUtility Program inside the winpak directory,
...... and import the cards. or open the PKCDMAIN.DBF (cards)file and save it as a excel file.

The database is MS-access, Excel willl open the *.DBF files
It look like Both winpakPE and Winpak1.0 will run together on the same PC ( if you want winpak1.0 to comm with panels, turn comm services off)
